ORDERING

How Can I Pay For An Online Order?

You may choose to pay through credit card via Paypal or through our Shopify secure online payment portal. You may also send an Instant Transfer through Paypal or (in Canada only) an Email Money Transfer - simply choose this option during check out and follow the displayed instructions.

Can I Order A Gift For Someone?

Of course! Just specify their address in the shipping address fields and your own in the billing address fields. We can include a little personalized note from you in the package - just leave a note for us at checkout with what you want us to write.

Can I Place An Order Online & Pick It Up in Store?

Totally! Use the discount code PICKUP at checkout and have the shipping fee waived. The order will then be prepared to be picked up during our open hours & you'll receive a notification when it's ready.

How Can I Order Something I Saw in Store But Can't Find Online?

We try our hardest to get all of our in store stock online for you but it's not always possible. Sometimes it's just that we haven't  put it up yet on the online shop and other times the product is just too large for us to ship. 

Just send us an email and we'd be happy to see if we can set up a custom listing on our site for you to purchase. 

What Currency Are Your Prices Shown In?

We're in Canada, so our prices are automatically shown in Canadian dollars. 

If you would like to shop in USD, you will find the option to change the currency displayed  at the top of the site on the right hand side. If you're viewing this site on mobile, you'll find the option in the navigation pane to the left.

What Taxes Do I Pay?

If you're Canadian & shipping to Canada, your sales taxes are automatically calculated based on where you are.

If you're American & shipping to the USA, you are not charged sales tax by us.

How Do I Use A Discount Code?

Unfortunately the system that we use doesn't always make it obvious! 

 If you're using mobile, you'll find it when you click Place Your Order at the top of the next page. You should see the words "Show order summary" and if you click the little arrow next to the words you'll reveal it.

If you're not using mobile you should see it on the right side of the page after you click Place Your Order- it will be under the order summary near the bottom.

SHIPPING

Do You Offer Free Shipping?

We don't at this time. We've decided to remove our free shipping option over X amount in lieu of now having a flat rate shipping of $9.95 anywhere! Watch our social media though, we may offer free shipping discount codes at times.

How Do I Track My Order?

When you place your order, you will receive an email that includes a link to your Order Status page. You can check there anytime.Once we ship your order, you will receive another email from us with your tracking information. Click the link in the email to check it anytime. You can always check here too.


If you've opted in to receive notifications from us through Facebook, you will also receive your notifcations there.

Where Do You Ship To?

We ship to Canada & the continental USA. 

 Due to the high cost and extremely slow speed of shipping to the rest of the world, we do not offer shipping by default. We are more than happy to quote you a price and set you up with a custom listing if you contact us.

Where Are You Shipping From?

We're in Canada! Specifically, a small town on the east coast in Nova Scotia.

What Are Your Shipping Rates?

We offer flat rate shipping to Canada and the continental USA for $9.95CAD! Just want to buy a greeting card or two? We can send up to 5 in an untracked envelope for $2.95.

We also offer Express Post shipping at $29.95.

How Long Does It Take To Ship My Order?

Please allow 1-4 days for us to process and ship your order. We live in a small town and the post office is closed on the weekends, so if you place an order on the weekend it will not be shipped until the following week. 

We ship most orders in Canada via Canada Post Expedited mail.Normal delivery time in Canada is 2-7 days. Most customers are surprised at how quickly their order arrives!

 We will happily ship via another method (UPS, FedEx, Purolator) just contact us with your request. We can also ship via a faster Canada Post method, just let us know and we will get you a shipping quote.

Orders shipped to the USA are shipped via Canada Post, which switches over to USPS once it hits the border. Regular untracked mail (such as the $2.95 shipping option) can take weeks, depending on which state you are shipping to but tracked mail normally takes 4 - 9 days.

My Order Is Being Shipped to the USA, what do I need to know?

Our orders are shipped via Canada Post, which becomes USPS once it hits your border. 

 Any duties or fees levied at the border by your government are your responsibility. (Sorry!) 

 You do not pay any of our Canadian taxes on your order.

ONLINE RETURNS

What Is Your Return Policy?

If you're unhappy with an item you've received, please visit our return portal to start the return process. 

* Returns are accepted for 90 days from order date.  

* We offer store credit, exchange or refund. 

* You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us (unless the item was damaged in shipping.) 

*  The item(s) must be in new, unused condition with original tags. 

*  Sale items are final sale.


If an item was damaged in shipping, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage and we will either send you a replacement or issue you a refund.
